Born on 13th November, 1912. Educated
at Govt. Intermediate College, Etawah, Agra University. Thompson Civil
engineering College, Roorkee and Balloi College, Oxford. Joined the Indian
Civil Service on 16.9.1936 and served in Uttar Pradesh as Asst. Magistrate
and Collector, became Distt. and Sessions Judge on 9.10.1944, confirmed as
Distt. and Sessions Judge on 30.7.1947. Judicial Commissioner of Bhopal
from 17.8.1955 to 31.10.1956. Appointed Additional Judge, Allahabad High
Court from 15.1.59 and permanent Judge of the Allahabad High Court from
14.7.1959. Appointed Chief Justice on 6.11.1973. |
