Graduated in LAW. Born on 15th January,
1934. Educated at Agarwal Intermediate College, Allahabad and Allahabad
University. Enrolled Advocate of the Allahabad High Court on 8.8.1956.
Practised in Civil and Writ matters. Was Chief Standing Counsel of the
State Government since 24.12.1970 and Editor of the Allahabad Law Journal
since 1964. Appointed Additional Judge, Allahabad High Court from 6th
August, 1973. Appointed permanent Judge from 4.8.1975. Appointed and
transferred as Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court from April 15th, 1990
and Calcutta High Court on April 12th, 1994. Retired on January 15th,
