Graduated in Arts in the year 1966, passed LL.B. in the year 1968 and passed LL.M. in the year 1972.

Served as Chief Law Officer, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority from Oct.'1991 to Dec.'1996, General Manager (Law), Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority from Dec.'1996 to Aug.'1997, Chief Legal Adviser, NOIDA,from Aug.'1997 to Aug.'1998 and Director, Institute of Judicial, Training & Research, Lucknow from Sep.'2003 to Oct.'2005.

Appointed in P.C.S.(J) in the year 1972 and promoted in Higher Judicial Service in the year 1983. Promoted in the year 1999 as District & Sessions Judge.

Elevated as Additional Judge on 20/10/2005.
