FULL COURT CONDOLENCE MEETING IN CHIEF JUSTICE’S COURT ON 2.5.2006 AT 3.30 P.M TO MOURN THE SAD DEMISE OF SHRI CHANDRA PRAKASH SRIVASTAVA, AN ADVOCATE OF THIS COURT.

We have assembled
here this afternoon to mourn the sad demise of Shri Chandra Prakash Srivastava,
Advocate.
Shri Chandra
Prakash Srivastava, Advocate was born on 24th of July 1944. After doing LL.B. he was enrolled as an
Advocate on 5.1.1970 and started practising in this Court. In November 1970 he
was selected as Judicial Officer in U.P. Civil Judicial Services and worked as
Munsif from 14.11.1970 to 25.11.1977 and as Civil Judge from 26.11.1977 to
3.7.1979. However, he resigned the service on 3.7.1979 and again joined the Bar
of this Court and started practising here from 4.7.1979. He was appointed as
Counsel for U.P. State Industrial Development Cooperative Ltd. Kanpur, Senior
Counsel for U.P. State Electricity Board, Lucknow, Standing Counsel for U.P.
Financial Corporation, Kanpur and Standing counsel for U.P. State Road
Transport Corporation, Kanpur Region, Kanpur. He was a thorough gentleman and
devoted to the legal profession.
He left behind
his widow, three sons and one married daughter. His elder son, Anubhav, is an
Advocate of this Court while from the youngers, one is Engineer and the other
is Chartered Accountant.
He died on 13.4.2006.
We express our heart-felt condolence to the members of
the bereaved family.
We pray to God that He may grant eternal peace to
the departed soul and give strength to the members of the bereaved family to
bear this irreparable loss.
