• Graduated in Arts in the year 1961 from (Ewing Christian College, Allahabad) Allahabad University and passed LL.B. in the year 1966 from Allahabad University.
• Practised in Criminal side.
• Appointed in P.C.S.(J) in the year 1970 and promoted in Higher Judicial Service in the year 1981. Promoted in the year 1995 as District & Sessions Judge.
• Served as Registrar in Central Administrative Tribunal, Allahabad from Jun, 1987 to Jun, 1989.
• Elevated as Additional Judge at Allahabad High Court on Dec 21, 2002. Took oath as Permanent Judge on Dec 21, 2004.
